Frequently asked questions
Can't find your answer? Email help@catchontv1.email — we respond within 2 hours. Or check our device setup guide, full channel list, and pricing plans.
Is the free trial really free? No credit card?
Yes. 24 hours, full access to every channel and feature, no payment information required. We want you to test during a live sports event — that's when other providers fall apart and ours doesn't.
What happens if I'm not happy after paying?
You get a full refund within 7 days of purchase, no questions asked. Email help@catchontv1.email and we process it same day. After 7 days, we can offer a prorated credit toward a different plan.
Does it buffer during live sports events?
Our infrastructure is built specifically for peak loads. Premier League Saturdays, UFC fight nights, NFL Sundays — these are our stress tests, and we pass them consistently. If you experience buffering, it's almost always ISP throttling during peak evening hours (7-11 PM). A VPN fixes this in seconds.
Is IPTV legal?
IPTV technology itself is legal — it's simply internet-based television delivery, the same technology Netflix and Disney+ use. We recommend users comply with their local regulations regarding content access and streaming laws in their jurisdiction.
What devices does it work on?
Amazon Firestick (all models), Fire TV Cube, Nvidia Shield TV, Android TV, Google TV, Android phones and tablets, MAG boxes (250, 254, 322, 420+), Enigma2, Windows PC, and macOS. For Samsung or LG Smart TVs, plug in a Fire TV Stick — it's the simplest and most reliable path. We don't have a native iOS app due to App Store restrictions.
How fast do I get my login after signing up?
Within 60 seconds. Fully automated delivery to your email. No waiting for someone to manually activate your account or send credentials via WhatsApp. You'll receive your server URL, username, and password — paste them into your player and you're watching.
What internet speed do I need?
10 Mbps for HD, 25 Mbps for 4K, 50 Mbps if you're running multiple screens simultaneously. If you can stream Netflix without issues, you can stream our service. We recommend a wired Ethernet connection for the most consistent experience, especially on Shield TV and Fire TV Cube.
What's the difference between M3U URL and Xtream Codes API?
Both connect you to the same channels. M3U URL is a playlist link — paste it into VLC, GSE, or any M3U player. Xtream Codes API uses a server/username/password format and is preferred by TiviMate and IPTV Smarters because it enables EPG, catch-up, and favorites sync. Most users prefer Xtream Codes.
Can I use it on multiple devices?
Yes — our plans support 1-5 simultaneous connections depending on which tier you choose. 1 Screen starts at $23/mo, up to 5 Screens at $69/mo. You can install on unlimited devices; the limit is concurrent streams, not installations. Most families go with 2-3 Screens so everyone can watch something different.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover). Your card details are processed securely and never touch our servers.
Is this the same as Xtreme HD IPTV?
No. Xtreme HD IPTV (xtremehdiptv.io) shut down in 2025 and has a 1.6/5 rating on Trustpilot with 94% one-star reviews. We are a separate, independent service with our own infrastructure. One domain, one brand, no clone TLDs.
Can I record shows?
Recording depends on your player app, not our service. TiviMate supports local recording on Android TV devices with USB storage. Our service provides catch-up (rewind live TV up to 24 hours) on supported channels.
